Award-winning boutique whisky maker Compass Box and Craft London restaurant are teaming up to host a special Burn’s Supper at Craft London, featuring four courses and four carefully chosen whisky pairings for just £48 per person.
Starting at 8pm they’ll have three snacks served together with a Compass Box ‘highball’ made using the Bartender’s favourite, the Great King St. Artist Blend.
Founder Stevie Parle and Head Chef Anna Garcia Cortes are following up with a Craft London take on a smoked haddock and leek broth served with shavings of cured egg yolk, and Compass Box will introduce their “ultimate pre-dinner” tipple, Asyla.
The main event is a Craft London Haggis made with incredible Yorkshire lamb and a fantastic blend of spices and grains, served with neeps and parsley tatties and smothered in cured butter. The whisky sauce and accompanying 70ml serve is made using Compass Box’s signature blend Spice Tree.
Ecclefechan tart with (more) whisky cream and buttermilk ice cream rounds off the dinner, and will be served with a glass of Spice Tree Extravaganza aged in old Sherry casks.
Stevie Parle will be there on the night to introduce each course and discuss the pairings, and Herman Van Broekhuizen, Brand Ambassador for Compass Box, will present the whiskies. Expect the traditional addressing of the haggis and much merriment.
The Haggis supper is priced at £48 per person and it includes all of the food & whisky serves. The service starts at 8pm.
